As someone who tries to adhere at all times to the natural, organic and ultimately ‘clean’ approach to skincare, I tend to stay loyal to brands I can trust on this front, as well as ones who manage to deliver that ultimate ‘glow’ time after time. When asked to review two of Autumn Rose Organics’ latest products, I jumped at the opportunity.
The exfoliating facial polish is a ritual for the senses: with a delicious smell which instantly promotes a feeling of calm and relaxation. I applied it gently to my skin in circular motions, using the micro-granular formulation to remove all of the stubborn dirt and impurities which had accumulated over the day. The grain was soft, even for sensitive skin such as mine, so I feel I can use it regularly. While a polish such as this is great for promoting circulation and boosting cell renewal, after just one use it left my skin looking visibly clearer and brighter.
My sensitive skin tends to be a little temperamental at times, so I was a little apprehensive when trying the oil-based facial glow serum. I soon discovered however that, unlike many cream-based moisturisers, it offers fast-absorbing hydration and left my skin feeling healthy, soft and glowing. I would encourage using this as a daily moisturising treatment, applying 2-3 drops into the palm of your hands, before gently applying in circular motions to your face. Like the exfoliating facial polish, it smells delicious and when inhaled deeply will make you feel relaxed and calm.
